VIDEO: Intruder shot to death

An intruder who was shot to death the day after Christmas in Texas may have been sleepwalking.

The homeowner in Wise County woke up to someone banging on his door.

When he went to investigate the noise, he found 31 year old Spencer Crandall.

The homeowner says Crandall tried to get in, so he fired one shot, killing Crandall.

His grieving family believes he was sleepwalking, unaware of his actions.

Crandall was wearing pajamas and was barefoot. He had struggled with the problem in the past.

Investigators say charges are unlikely as it appears the homeowner acted to protect his family.
