PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The statue honoring boxing legend Joe Frazier has officially been moved to its new home at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Crews carefully installed the 12-foot-tall bronze statue onto a platform outside the museum on Thursday.
The "Smokin' Joe" statue is replacing the Rocky statue that was relocated inside the museum for a temporary exhibition.
"I want young people and everybody to know that things take time, it takes time to be a champion boxer, it takes time to be educated. Life is not necessarily instant, but we're going to do things together," said Frazier's daughter, Jacqui Frazier-Lyde.
The official unveiling of the Joe Frazier statue in its new home will take place on June 29.
