Kids play soccer in the sand during Cape Express Beach Blast

WILDWOOD, New Jersey (WPVI) -- It's been a soccer-filled summer this year, and the Jersey Shore was part of the fun today.

The Wildwood beach was host to their own soccer tournament in the sand, gathering kids and young adults from across the East Coast.

"This year we have 88 fields divided into two sections...Teams range from eight through adult...We just hope that everybody comes down, has a chance to enjoy the beach, has a chance to enjoy Wildwood," said Tournament Director, Mike Granigan.

There's another opportunity to check out the fun during the Cape Express More Beach Blast on July 18th-19th.
