Liberty Bell replica honoring Philadelphia's workforce unveiled in Center City

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The City of Philadelphia unveiled a tribute to thousands of men and women who make up its workforce.

Officials took the wraps off the Workforce Bell on Thursday morning at Thomas Paine Plaza.

The Liberty Bell replica is part of the statewide "Bells Across PA" initiative commemorating America's 250th anniversary.

The Workforce Bell was designed by artist Akira Gordon as a tribute to the City employees who deliver essential services to every neighborhood.
