Local couple donates money to struggling families

BRISTOL TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A Bucks County couple donated tens thousands of dollars to help struggling families.

Gene and Marlene Epstein gave fifteen $1,000 checks on Wednesday in Bristol Township.

The money went to people who get assistance from the Bucks County Opportunity Council.

Gene and Marlene Epstein created their Humanitarian Fund because they have always believed in making a difference.

A total of $50,000 was donated, with $15,000 going to clients and the rest going to BCOC.
