Man in critical condition following shooting in Newark, Del.

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that left a man in critical condition in Newark.

It happened at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on Old Baltimore Pike near Salem Church Road.

Police arrived on scene to find a man shot multiple times.

He was transported to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.

Video from the Action Cam showed crime scene tape around a motorcycle.

A gunman is in custody, Action News has learned.

The circumstances of this shooting remain under investigation.
