Man dies after being found shot near baseball field in Hunting Park

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police are investigating a deadly shooting in the city's Hunting Park section.

Officers responded to reports of gunshots at 12th and Lycoming streets just after 10 p.m. Saturday.

Upon arrival, they found a man on the bleachers of a baseball field, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He died there at the scene.

Investigators say the victim's car was found nearby.

No arrests have been made, and no weapon has been recovered.
