Man found shot in car in the Kensington section of Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police are searching for a gunman that shot a man in the back while he was sitting in a car in Philadelphia's West Kensington section.

Police were called to the 2200 block of Palethorp Street around 4:20am Saturday morning.

Officers transported the 36-year-old victim to the hospital where he is said to be in critical condition.

Police are looking for a male seen riding a white bicycle away from the scene, as they try to figure out who shot the man, and why.
