Man hurt in West Philadelphia shooting

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man is recovering after a shooting in West Philadelphia.

Police responded to the 400 block of North 56th Street around 1 a.m. on Tuesday for reports of a shooting.

They found a man shot in the leg at the scene.

He was taken to Penn Presbyterian hospital and is in stable condition.

Police have not said whether there are any suspects or a motive.
