Man injured after falling onto SEPTA tracks in West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was injured after falling onto SEPTA train tracks in West Philadelphia.

It happened around 1:45 a.m. on Monday at the station at 60th and Market streets.

The victim landed on the westbound tracks and was rescued by medics.

He was taken to the hospital with leg and ankle injuries, and is in serious condition.

SEPTA is investigating.
