Man shot 12 times in Chester, later found inside car at Wendy's in Folsom

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- An investigation is underway in Delaware County after a man was shot 12 times.

The shooting happened around 12:30 p.m. Thursday at 22nd and Hyatt streets in Chester.

Sources say a friend didn't call police and was taking the victim to the hospital when they stopped at a Wendy's in Folsom.

That's where police found the victim sitting in the passenger seat bleeding.

Officers took him to the hospital.

There has been no word on a suspect or motive in this case.
