Philadelphia shooting leaves man injured near Broad and Spring Garden

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in the Spring Garden section of the city.

Shots were fired just before 4 p.m. Wednesday near Broad and Spring Garden streets, authorities said.

Police say a man was found shot in the leg at the scene and taken to a nearby hospital. He is listed in stable condition.

The circumstances surrounding the incident have not been released.
