Man shot outside sports bar in Philadelphia's Frankford section

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Gunfire outside a sports bar in Philadelphia's Frankford section critically injured a 40-year-old man.

It happened along Frankford Avenue, near Wakeling Street, around 11 p.m. on Thursday.

Investigators say more than a dozen shots were fired, and the victim was hit six times.

No arrests have been made, as police try to figure out who shot the man and why.
