VIDEO: Two armed suspects rob Kensington mini mart

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Police are searching for two armed robbers who targeted a mini mart in North Philadelphia Sunday night.

It happened at Frie's Mini Mart located at 238 East Westmoreland Street.

Surveillance from the scene shows the masked gunmen entering the store at 8 p.m.

One suspect walks to the side of the counter while the other approached the front.

The pair spoke Spanish as they demanded money and the clerk's handgun.

The suspects then fled the store and were last seen south on the 3200 block of Kip Street.

No customers were inside the store and no injuries were reported.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 20 years-old, 5'7" tall with a medium complexion and thin build.. He was wearing a black mask covering face and a hooded sweatshirt over his head, tan bubble jacket and blue jeans. He was armed with a handgun.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 20 years-old, 5'7" tall with a medium complexion and thin build. He was wearing a black mask covering his face with a hooded sweatshirt over his head and gray vest. He was armed with a handgun.

If you see these suspects do not approach them and contact 911 immediately.
