Meantime on Market shines summer spotlight on Philly retailers

MARKET EAST (WPVI) -- With so many visitors in town for World Cup Soccer, Major League Baseball's All-Star Game -- as well as locals looking for new shops to check out -- Meantime on Market shines bright this summer.

The residency is designed to reignite the Market East corridor by filling vacant storefronts with retailers who bring great Philly energy. It is the first phase of a long-term revitilization of Market East, with something for everyone and a vibrant addition to the Center City shopping scene.

You can visit these pop-up shops through July: Almost Famous (fashion), Clubfriends Radio & Records (record store & listening room), Two Persons Coffee (beverages), Rarify (collectible furniture), Harriett's Audio Bookshop (books and audio), Immigrant Marche (multicultural marketplace), Love Now Media (event space), Siddiq's Water Ice (water ice & snacks).
