Federal health officials say they identified more than 3,100 new cases of cyclospora infections within the last week, according to health officials.
The illness is linked with iceberg lettuce sourced from central Mexico, and recalled by Taylor Farms.

Officials say most of these illnesses began before the July 17 recall, and are just now being reported.
The last known illness was reported on August 3.
