WILDWOOD, N.J. (WPVI) -- An iconic boardwalk attraction at the Jersey Shore is saying goodbye after more than two decades.
The SkyCoaster at Morey's Piers in Wildwood is officially being retired.
Part sky-diving, part hang gliding - the SkyCoaster had riders soaring 100 feet high over the beach.
"Thank you to everyone who faced their fears and took the leap with us!" Morey's Piers said in a Facebook message posted on Sunday.
The ride has been a part of the pier for the past 25 years.
Morey's Piers added that while they are saying goodbye to the SkyCoaster, they are already working to reimagine the Adventure Pier for future guests to enjoy many more adventures in the coming years.
