National Constitution Center's new gallery puts you in the middle of how government works

INDEPENDENCE MALL (WPVI) -- "Governing the Nation" breaks down the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches-who's in charge, what they do, and how it's evolved.

Visitors can take the oath of office, sit in the Oval Office, or step onto the Supreme Court bench in hands-on exhibits.

Artifacts from key moments in history help tell the story, alongside displays on the balance between states and the federal government.

The immersive gallery serves as a companion to the America's Founding Gallery, which opened in February, as part of the Center's America 250 celebration.
