
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Students at a Philadelphia elementary school learned all about engineering jobs on Wednesday.
It was part of career day at Penrose Elementary School in Eastwick, which also recognized Black History Month.
The National Society of Black Engineers hosted the event in collaboration with the Boeing Employee Flying Association.
This was part of an effort to inspire students to pursue careers in aviation, aerospace and aircraft maintenance.
Students also received free backpacks as part of this special day.
