Along with the trucks, at least one other vehicle was involved.

Despite the heavy damage to the vehicles involved, only one minor injury was reported.

Police shut down all northbound lanes at the Lansdale exit and for nine hours it was detoured all the way up to the Quakertown exit in Bucks County.

Turnpike officials handed out slips of paper with suggestions on how to get around the closure.

Matt Inca, from Philadelphia, was one of the lucky ones. He was getting off at the Lansdale exit anyway.

"I was coming up actually from Levittown, and I thought it was going to be worse. I was stuck in it for about 15 minutes, but yeah... it was traffic," he said.
