Nestle eliminates artificial dyes from food, drinks

Nestle USA says it has officially gotten rid of artificial dyes in its food and drink products.

The company says those ingredients have been replaced with alternatives or removed altogether.

This comes after Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. called for American food providers to ditch artificial dyes last year.

Several companies, including General Mills and Kraft Heinz, have announced plans to eliminate artificial coloring in their products by next year.
