NFL star Damar Hamlin co-hosts Health Heath event in Center City

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin co-hosted a "HeartMates Huddle" program this Wednesday in Center City, bringing together people with heart conditions alongside their friends, family and caretakers.

The NFL player teamed up with Abbott HeartMates. The program celebrates the bravery of those battling heart conditions and the caregivers helping them on their journeys.

Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest in the middle of a game in January of 2023.

He made a full recovery and returned to the NFL in 2024.
