NORAD intercepts 2 planes near Trump's New Jersey golf course

BEDMINSTER, N.J. (WPVI) -- Two planes were intercepted after entering restricted airspace near President Donald Trump's golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

NORAD says F-16s safely escorted the two aircraft out of the area Sunday, while Trump was at a tournament.

It's unclear if the pilots entered the restricted airspace by mistake.

The FAA will make that determination.

The incident comes as the FAA also reviews another recent air-traffic safety incident involving a military helicopter carrying Trump last week.
