Northampton volunteer firefighter charged with sexually assaulting 14-year-old girl

NORTHAMPTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- A volunteer firefighter in the Lehigh Valley is suspended while he's being investigated for the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl.

Michael Dempsey, Jr., was a captain of the Northampton Borough Fire Department.

The 40-year-old is accused of assaulting a young girl in 2018.
