Pedestrian critically injured in Delaware crash

STANTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police in Delaware are investigating a crash involving a pedestrian.

It happened just after 6:30 p.m. along West Newport Pike at East Redmont Road in Stanton.

The driver remained at the scene.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Police say the roadway was closed until about 8 p.m.
