Pedestrian struck on Black Horse Pike in Atlantic County

HAMILTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was struck along the Black Horse Pike in Atlantic County, New Jersey, on Wednesday night.

It happened around 8 p.m. near Route 50 in Hamilton Township.

There's no word yet on the condition of the victim.

The driver of the SUV involved did stop, according to authorities.

The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
