Pedestrian struck and injured in West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was injured, after being hit by a car in West Philadelphia.

It happened around 6:30 Saturday night, on 48th Street between Spruce and Locust.

Police say the driver remained at the scene after the crash.

There is no update yet on the pedestrian's condition.
