Pedestrian struck on Blue Route in Conshohocken

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A crash involving a pedestrian slowed traffic on the Blue Route (I-476) near the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76).

It happened before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday in the northbound lanes past the Schuylkill Expressway interchange in Conshohocken.

Pennsylvania State Police say a pedestrian was struck and injured.

There was no immediate word on that person's condition.

The northbound left lane was blocked as the injured person was taken to an area hospital and police investigated.

Traffic was getting by in the two right lanes.
