Pennsylvania firefighter dies from injuries sustained while battling fire in Croydon

CROYDON, Pennsylvania, (WPVI) -- A firefighter has died a week after suffering injuries battling a fire in Croydon, Bucks County.

Remembrances are pouring in for Ed Margavich, who had been a firefighter for more than 60 years.

He was injured battling a fire on August 8th after someone set a parked van on fire on the 700 block of Cedar Avenue.

The flames quickly spread from the van to the nearby house.

The fire is being investigated as arson.
