Person of interest named for indecent assault of child at Dollar Tree store in Prospect Park

PROSPECT PARK, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police have identified a person of interest after a girl was inappropriately touched at a Dollar Tree store in Delaware County.

Robert McCool, 35, is a Florida resident with ties to the region, police in Prospect Park said Friday.

The indecent assault happened shortly after 4 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, at the store in the 700 block of Chester Pike.

Authorities said a 12-year-old girl entered the store with her 6-year-old sister when a man appeared to follow them inside.

Police said the suspect approached the girls twice.

The man brushed by them once and then, on the second occasion, inappropriately touched the 12-year-old, police said.
