Person struck by car in Northfield, New Jersey

NORTHFIELD, N.J. -- Authorities say a person was struck by a car in Northfield, Atlantic County.
It happened just after 7:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of Shore Road.
A person was struck by a vehicle there. The victim was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the striking vehicle did stop at the scene.
Police are investigating.
