Philadelphia City Council President hosts interfaith prayer breakfast

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia City Council President Kenyatta Johnson hosted the 2nd annual Interfaith Prayer Breakfast in Center City Friday morning.

The sold-out event, themed "Faith in Action," brings together over 600 leaders from across the Delaware Valley.

National civil rights leader Reverend Doctor Jamal-Harrison Bryant delivered the keynote.

Organizers say the gathering is funded entirely by private sponsors and aims to serve as a united, non-partisan force for the city.
