City leaders hold festival to celebrate National Poll Worker Recruitment Day

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia City leaders celebrated the men and women who help make sure our elections run smoothly.

City Commissioners held a rally and festival in Center City on Tuesday for National Poll Worker Recruitment Day.

Pennsylvania Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt was in attendance.

Along with free food, a DJ, and other activities, officials also offered information on how to become a poll worker for the November mid-terms.
