PHILADLEPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Councilmember Rue Landau plans to introduce a resolution on Thursday to authorize hearings to look into the Philadelphia police response during Pride festivities over the weekend.
It comes after reports of an excessive law enforcement presence in the Gayborhood on Sunday.
Philadelphia police leaders say they are looking into the matter after some at the events accuse officers of using excessive force.
