The DA also said homicides, shootings, robberies and aggravated assaults are all down from this time last year

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner explained how to apply for new violence prevention grants in Center City on Monday.
Representatives from local organizations, like Urban Youth Racing School, spoke about how existing grants have helped them.
The money helps students learn how to build cars and race them, giving them something to do after school.
The DA also provided an update on crime in the city, saying that homicides, shootings, robberies and aggravated assaults are all down from this time last year.
