PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Festivities took flight on Tuesday as two Philadelphia airports celebrated milestone anniversaries.
This year, the Philadelphia International Airport celebrated its 85th anniversary, and the Northeast Philadelphia Airport celebrated its 80th.
Officials decided both airports would celebrate on Tuesday, or better recognized as National Aviation Day.
Historical photos of both facilities were on display, along with plenty of free giveaways.
Some guests even got the chance to take control of a jumbo jet in a flight simulator.
