Man fatally shot in the Kensington section of Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a fatal shooting that left one man dead in the city's Kensington neighborhood.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 12:55 a.m. Saturday on the 1800 block of East Clementine Street.

Police say they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the back.

The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital by police where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

No arrests have been announced, and no weapon has been recovered.
