Stolen vehicle crashes, strikes multiple parked cars in Spring Garden: Police
Investigators say a stolen Grey Audi struck a dark-colored Toyota, 2 light poles, and three other parked vehicles.
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A hit-and-run crash in Philadelphia's Spring Garden section wrecked multiple cars.
Police are trying to track down the driver responsible.
Home surveillance video shows the violent collision at 19th and Spring Garden Streets just before 3 a.m. Saturday.
Police say a stolen grey Audi struck a dark colored Toyota.
The Audi spiraled out of control hit two light poles and three parked vehicles.
Police say the Audi driver then got out of the car and fled from the scene.
One other person was taken to Jefferson University Hospital with a head injury.
No word yet on what led up to the crash.
Neighbors tell Action News there have been a string of accidents here and they've discussed in community meetings the need for speed bumps along this stretch of Spring Garden Street.
