Philly Bookstore Crawl brings out bookworms across the city

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- It's a novel concept: Over 50 independent bookstores across the Philadelphia region are hosting a day full of page-turning excitement.

The 'Philadelphia Bookstore Crawl' is celebrating its fourth annual event today, Saturday, August 22, 2026. It runs for this one day only until each business' closing time.

Author signings, discounts and giveaways could be discovered across 18 neighboring areas.
