
LOWER PROVIDENCE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A very special event took place in Lower Providence on Tuesday.
WWII veteran Anthony Krylow was presented with a citation from the state honoring his service.
He also received a pin in appreciation.
Mr. Krylow is 103 years old.
He was an airplane mechanic stationed in Italy during the war from 1942 to 1945.
He worked on the legendary "Flying Fortress" heavy bomber which was known for its precision raids over Germany.
