
ABINGTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Abington Township, Montgomery County are warning drivers to slow down and reminding them to stop on red.
The police department posted video on Facebook showing several times it caught drivers running red lights on the township's red light cameras.
"While officers do their best to enforce traffic laws, they can't be at every intersection at all times," the department said.
They say red light cameras are a tool that can promote safer driving, accountability and protect lives.
Cameras are located at:
-Old York Road and Susquehanna Road.
-Old York Road and Old Welsh Road
-Moreland Road and Fitzwatertown Road.
