Police: Del. teen shot grandfather, killing him

CAMDEN WYOMING, Del. (WPVI) -- A 17-year-old boy is accused of shooting his grandfather with a shotgun, killing him, in Camden Wyoming, Delaware.

John Rash is charged with assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Homicide detectives said the investigation into this case continues.

Police were called to a home in the 7000 block of Willow Grove Road around 6:20 p.m. on Monday.

Investigators say the victim, 84-year-old Charles Semans, was involved in an argument with Rash.

Police say Rash retrieved a shotgun and shot Semans once in the stomach.

Semans was rushed to the hospital but died on Thursday.

Rash is being held in lieu of $40,000 secured bond.
