Police investigate cargo theft outside Chick-fil-A in South Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a cargo theft outside a Chick-fil-A in South Philadelphia.

It happened around 5:45 a.m. Friday along the 2600 block of Penrose Avenue.

Investigators say a truck driver was asleep in his cab while waiting to make a delivery when two men and a woman allegedly stole a pallet of meat.

The value of the stolen meat has not yet been determined.
