Police warn pranksters after viral door-kicking challenge causes significant property damage

ROYERSFORD, Pa. (WPVI) -- Authorities blame a viral door-kicking challenge for property damage in Montgomery County.

The Royersford Borough Police Department is looking for the people caught on surveillance video.

The challenge is similar to "ding-dong-ditch," but authorities say the pranksters are actually kicking the doors and causing significant damage.

The department posted this online warning: "Unless you find sitting in court fun, it's not worth it."
