PopeBot returns home after papal journey

Philadelphia's PopeBot has survived its journey across the Delaware Valley.

The Preston and Steve Show on WMMR sent PopeBot on a mission around the region to prove that Philadelphians are kind.

A few weeks ago, hitchBOT's journey may have ended in Philadelphia, but a new robot has set out to prove the city is safe for all robotkind - Pope Bot.

Residents got a bad rap after the hitch-hiking robot named hitchBOT was destroyed in Center City.

But thanks to the Philadelphia Fire Department, PopeBot completed his journey.

"I'm home," PopeBot tweeted.
