PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Stop at red, or face a fine.

Beginning on Thursday, any driver caught running a red light at Kelly Drive and Eakins Oval will now receive a $100 ticket in the mail.

The 60-day warning period ended on Wednesday night for the automated red light enforcement cameras in front of the Philadelphia Art Museum.

The city says red light cameras have made traffic safer and reduced the number of vehicles running a red light by over 50%.
