School bus, car collide in Ewing Township, NJ

EWING TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police were on the scene of a crash involving a school bus in Ewing Township, Mercer County Friday morning.

It happened before 7:00 a.m. Friday on Prospect Street near Hazelhurst Avenue.

Images from Chopper 6 HD over the scene showed the front of a silver sedan wedged under the middle of a school bus.

The Ewing School District said one student was boarding the bus when it was hit.

That student wasn't hurt and returned to his parent's care. No one else on board was hurt.

Action News is told the driver of the sedan was injured.

There was no immediate word on the extent of those injuries or what caused the collision.

Ewing Police continue to investigate.
