School District of Philadelphia celebrating academic achievements 3 years into strategic plan

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The School District of Philadelphia is celebrating several major wins that show it is rebounding from the pandemic.

Preliminary data shows both student and teacher attendance have increased, as well as graduation rates, and test scores for students in grades 3 through 8 - especially in math.

The number of student dropouts have also decreased.

This is the third year into the School District of Philadelphia's five-year strategic plan, putting an emphasis on improving outcomes for students.
