WASHINGTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A 19-year-old Turnersville man has been charged in connection with two car fires and several criminal mischief incidents that occurred in Washington Township, police said.

According to the Washington Township Police Department, officers responded to Tara Drive at approximately 9:42 p.m. Saturday after receiving a report that a vehicle had been intentionally set on fire.

The vehicle owner witnessed the incident through home surveillance cameras, which captured a male suspect smashing the rear window of a parked vehicle, pouring a flammable liquid inside and setting the vehicle ablaze.

While officers were investigating that fire, a second vehicle fire was reported near Harrogate Court and Tenby Drive.

Police located a man matching the suspect's description, who was later identified as Aiden Logrande, 19, of Turnersville.
