Stephen Starr drops 100-layer lasagna dish from Borromini menu in Rittenhouse Square
Stephen Starr is dropping his 100-layer lasagna from the menu at his Rittenhouse Square restaurant, Borromini.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Stephen Starr is dropping his 100-layer lasagna.
The dish has been the star at Borromini since the restaurant opened in Rittenhouse Square in August.
Stephen Starr's Borromini is a new spot in Rittenhouse Square. The James Beard winning restaurateur was inspired by a trip to Italy and has brough that inspiration to the iconic Philadelphia neighborhood.
The restaurateur says he has decided to pull the popular dish, featuring very thin layers of pasta, from the menu.
Action News has been told it will be replaced by a new, yet-to-be-announced dish.
